On Tuesday 12 December, the British Parliament – House of Lords held a conference entitled "Supporting the Iranian People's Resistance and Struggle for Human Rights and Justice".

The conference was attended by a number of members of the British Parliament, as well as lawyers and human rights activists, and speeches were given by Lord David Alton, Lord Carlisle, Baroness Elon, MPs Bob Blackman, Dr Liam Fox, Steve McCabe, Martin Day and Jim Shannon.

The meeting was also attended by lawyers, judges and human rights defenders, including Professor Sarah Chandler, Lauren Audrell and Jocelyn Scott.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, participated in this meeting online and addressed the audience at the beginning of the meeting, among other things:

Today, Iran's issue is no longer confined to Iran's borders or even to the Middle East. The mullahs' regime is fighting three wars simultaneously: one against the international community, another against the people of the Middle East and, most importantly, war with the people of Iran. These conflicts are not caused by the regime's strength; on the contrary, they are a desperate reaction against the Iranian people's resistance to religious tyranny.

On the one hand, the regime's reaction includes a jump in the number of prisoner executions. Last November alone, they executed at least 120 people in prisons. Including supporters of the MEK and other brave rebels. On the other hand, they have increased terrorism beyond Iran's borders.

Referring to the regime's efforts against the MEK and the National Council of Resistance, Maryam Rajavi said:

Since last July, they have talked a lot about the trial in absentia of 104 MEK. This parade began today in Tehran.

Two decades ago, the Iranian Resistance invited Khamenei and other regime leaders to an international tribunal to file any case they had against the MEK and the resistance.

But as expected, only criminals posing as judges and lawyers attended this so-called court.

What forced the regime to these offers

First, because of the nationwide uprising of the Iranian people.

Second, the MEK and the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) have gained more political and social influence through the expansion of resistance units in many of Iran's cities and the uptake of most of the younger generation.

Third, there is a credible international movement that wants to prosecute regime leaders for crimes against humanity. Last October, 453 human rights defenders and international legal institutes published a statement condemning the farce of the regime's repressive judiciary. In addition, 124 former world leaders have called for regime leaders to be held accountable for crimes against humanity.

This conference continued with the speeches of deputies and other personalities and presented their views and views on the right policy against the mullahs' regime.

Iran... Towards ending the policy of feeding the crocodile

Speakers at the conference "Increase in executions at home, terrorism and fomenting wars abroad" held in the Netherlands recently stressed the criminality of the mullahs' regime in Iran and the danger it poses to the countries of the region and the world.

During her speech at the conference, which was held on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Doreen Rockmaker, a member of the European Parliament for the Netherlands, said that Ebrahim Raisi, the perpetrator of the 1988 massacre and one of the four judges who carried out thousands of executions, the current president of Iran, received an invitation from the United Nations to visit Geneva, and Rockmaker called on the international community to condemn this step, noting that the Iranian judicial authorities intend to conduct a show trial in Tehran to try members of the resistance in absentia, which calls into question She criticized the West's inaction, stressing the need for action, and siding with the Iranians who condemned all forms of dictatorship and said clearly, "Death to the oppressor, whether the Shah or Khamenei."

On the need for the regime to wage wars in the region, former Dutch senator Kees Delange said, "The 2022 uprising in Iran showed the state of Iranian society that is likely to explode at any moment," stressing that the presence of resistance units that are deployed throughout Iran and challenge the regime is a major and unsolvable problem for the regime, and to overcome this, the regime intensifies internal repression and engages in foreign wars, stressing Khamenei's need to ignite crises and wars to stay in power.

The Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations and former head of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI), Ed Melkert, recalled Raisi's participation in the Global Refugee Forum in Geneva in 2023 and the demand of human rights organizations to prevent him from participating for his role in crimes against humanity, and his participation in the massacre of political prisoners in 1988 through his membership in the death commission, as well as his role in suppressing the 2019 and 2022 uprisings, calling for his accountability for his crimes.

Senator Bob Van Baren called on all statesmen and politicians to prevent Raisi's presence at the UN forum, pointing to the reality of torture, rape, confiscation of property, kidnapping, death and fear in Iran, where one person is killed by the regime every two hours, because they wanted to live in freedom and happiness.

The former chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee in the Dutch parliament, Professor Henk Dahan, referred to the role of the criminal regime in repression and war promotion, saying, "I do not need to repeat the numbers of executions and the statement of facts, tens of thousands of people were killed in the first executions, and the operations continued until today, and the Dutch government, based on the decisions of the majority in the Dutch parliament, must do its utmost to include the mullahs' regime in the list of terrorist organizations.

Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, who participated in the online conference, said that International Human Rights Day is the day to expose the velayat-e faqih regime, which is the worst enemy of humanity, and a day of pride for the Iranian people and the Iranian Resistance who resisted and withstood religious tyranny by fighting a long battle that has lasted for four decades.

The West has plunged the world into a maze of terror and violence by pursuing a policy of "feeding the crocodile" over the past four decades, prompting calls to change this policy, replacing it with conditions to stop torturing and executing prisoners and killing protesters, referring the issue of human rights violations in Iran to the UN Security Council, and initiating the necessary arrangements for the trial of Khamenei, Raisi and other leaders of this regime.

The victory of the Iranian Resistance The withdrawal of the mullahs' regime from Ebrahim Raisi's visit to Geneva due to fear of arrest

After news circulated that a complaint had been filed about the arrest of Ebrahim Raisi in Geneva by the Iranian Resistance, Agency France-Presse reported last night: "Raisi was expected to participate in the Global Refugee Forum that will begin Wednesday in Geneva.". But the United Nations said on Monday that Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian would lead the Iranian delegation, suggesting the president may not attend the conference.

But this news has not yet been confirmed and is likely to be a ploy by the regime to end the international campaign to prosecute and arrest Raisi in accordance with international laws prematurely. UNHCR told AFP: "Iran is a member of the United Nations, so it has been invited to the World Refugee Assembly."

"Iran has also been one of the largest refugee-hosting countries in the past forty years," a spokesman wrote in an email, and "Iran's foreign minister will lead the Iranian delegation," without naming names.

This is a signal that Raisi himself may not be present.

In the same news, Agence France-Presse added that a legal complaint was filed against Raisi by 3 victims of the massacre of political prisoners in Iran in 1988. Most of those executed were supporters of the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), known by abbreviations as People's Mojahedin or People's Mojahedin of Iran.

In parallel to the lawsuit, an international campaign is also underway condemning the head of the UN Refugee Council and calling for him to be tried for "participating in past and ongoing crimes under international law."

The Radio France Persian website reported on Tuesday, December 12:

It has already been announced that the President of the Islamic Republic will travel to Geneva to participate in the World Refugee Assembly. But after the news of a complaint by a number of torture victims against Ebrahim Raisi was published, the Islamic Republic's media reported that Hossein Amir-Abdollahian would leave for Switzerland.

On Tuesday, December 12, IRNA news agency wrote: Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian left Tehran for Geneva to attend the Global Refugee Forum.

Thus, it seems unlikely that the participation of the President of the Islamic Republic in this meeting is unlikely. The reason for this withdrawal is likely the complaint filed against Ebrahim Raisi by "victims of torture" to the Swiss Federal Public Prosecutor's Office. Three former Iranian prisoners file complaints, and this action is likely initiated by the MEK.

The victory of the Iranian global resistance campaign

Switzerland Info announced that Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi canceled his trip to Geneva over a request for his arrest.

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi will not attend the Global Refugee Forum in Geneva.

The U.N. refugee agency told Swiss news agency on Tuesday that the Iranian delegation would be led by Amir Abdollahian.

Raisi was supposed to address the council on Wednesday. However, three Iranian dissidents living in Switzerland demanded his arrest from the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office.

This request is supported by 330 personalities in a separate statement. Among them are five Swiss, including MP Philippe Nantermod.

In a statement sent to federal prosecutor Andreas Mueller and seen by the Swiss news agency on Monday, the signatories called for the Iranian regime's president to be investigated for genocide and crimes against humanity.

Raisi is accused of participating in torture and unlawful executions during the killing of tens of thousands of dissidents in 1988.

Raisi, as a member of the committee responsible for deciding on executions, is responsible for the deaths of thousands of people.

Raisi was the deputy prosecutor general of Tehran province at the time.

The three opposition prosecutors point out that immunity does not apply to crimes against humanity.

Iran... Poison Cup Again

The newspaper "Switzerland Info" reported that Raisi canceled his trip to Geneva because of the request for his arrest and will not participate in the Global Refugee Forum in Geneva, while the Swiss News Agency quoted the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees that the Iranian delegation will be headed by Foreign Minister Amir Abdollahian, noting that Raisi was supposed to deliver a speech at this forum, but that did not prevent the demand of three Iranian dissidents living in Switzerland Federal Prosecutor Office to arrest him, and the request was based on Support for 330 figures, including five Swiss, called in a statement sent to federal prosecutor Andreas Mueller to investigate the head of the Iranian regime for genocide and crimes against humanity, pointing to his participation in torture and illegal executions as a member of the commission responsible for making decisions on executions, and responsible for the execution of thousands of people.

AFP reported a day before the cancellation of Raisi's visit that under the legal complaint, the head of the Iranian regime is supposed to be arrested upon arrival on charges of crimes against humanity related to the massacre of dissidents in 1988, noting that three victims, Reza Shamirani, Ali Begin Zolfiqari and Radia Qudrati, filed a complaint, and demanded that the Swiss Federal Prosecutor ensure the arrest and trial of Raisi "for his involvement in acts of genocide, torture, extrajudicial executions and other crimes against humanity" and their assertion of their personal knowledge of him when he was Member of the committee that killed thousands of imprisoned dissidents.

When announcing the international campaign against Raisi's presence in Geneva, the Iranian Resistance stressed that his participation in the meeting of the Global Refugee Forum is an insult to human rights, the sacred right of asylum and all the values that humanity sacrificed tens of millions to achieve, and a stain on the history of the United Nations, and makes the regime more active in killing Iranians, exporting terrorism and inciting war, and also called for his trial for crimes against humanity and genocide over four decades, and a continuation of the international campaign and complaint against the perpetrator More than 350 high-ranking officials, including Nobel laureates, judges, former ministers, members of parliament, academics and legal experts at the United Nations, condemned Raisi's presence at the forum, and their statement said that Raisi was the main perpetrator of the 1988 massacre, and his presence contradicts the basic values of the United Nations, and also referred to the condemnation of international organizations, including United Nations special rapporteurs, of the 1988 executions as ongoing crimes against humanity, and their support for a comprehensive international investigation into the a key role, warning against promoting a culture of impunity in Iran.

The victory recorded by the Iranian Resistance, which is represented by forcing Raisi to withdraw from participating in the forum, showed its ability to confront, the confidence it enjoys in political circles and world public opinion, the possibility of defeating the policy of appeasement, and forcing the mullahs' regime to dose the cup of poison again.
